| I'm surprised we have not recovered to the pre-coup levels seeing as RRS reported not impact on production; hopefully will re-rate when this is reiterated By capitulation |

| Taking a small punt ahead of figures, intend to add after, just in case...... It looks to be good value at the moment, but what do I know. 183 @ 54.487508 By illbetabuck |

| 9:42 02/05/2012 | Re: Dividend date - results thursday |
| Tuesday is the last day you can buy them, Wednesday is the actual day normally given as far as I remember. The 9 may is the date released from Randgold - The dividend to me is hardly worth it- It the results tomm that I'm waiting for- I don't try and buy in for dividends anymore, I just take them when I get them, as the price plummets if its a good divi and if its a rubbish stock you are shafted ! | 8:31 01/05/2012 | Dividend date - results thursday |
| The dividend works out at about 25 p - not a lot but something. Results are out Thursday of course - I'm holding and may add after the results and more information and reaction from the market. 'Randgold Resources Limited confirmed today that shareholders approved an annual dividend for the year ended 31 December 2011 of US$0.40 per share. The dividend payment will be made on 29 May 2012 to shareholders on the register on 11 May 2012. The ex-dividend date will be 9 May 2012.' By Papiv |

| 9:05 11/04/2012 | Re: Stifel Nicolaus upgrade .. ADR up 9% |
| Thanks Bb ... Interseting day for Gold stocks over in the U.S. ..as the market started pushing downwards on S&P500 from 1370 to 1360, quite a few of the Gold miners reversed earlier losses and headed to close in small positive territory Has anyone ever looked at Petropavlosk (POG) ...seems to offer similar risk profile to Randgold except that u take Russian as opposed to African risk, but the operating margins look favourable . | 10:55 04/04/2012 | time for a dabble in the ADR :-) |
| Now that the sentiment is uber bearish on QE3 after last night, and Gold has returned to 1630 .... i am going to buy a few miners here which include Randgold ADR and Newmont (downgraded by Citibank yesterday) and Freeport MacMoran within the first hour of U.S. trading This is for 5-7% upside in a short term horizon, with a possible instant kicker of a PBOC cut on Thursday or Friday. I am buying USD denominated stocks as it gives me a cushion against the negative correlation of Gold to USD, which on a PBOC cut and a decent jobs report will trade well. Will post levels this afternoon. GL All By sammy76 |

| I do know that when sentiment does return, that there wont be any card sent in the post as a reminder to buy ! Im averaging about 5600, but haven't topped up - but if it goes to 4500 or 5 ish and looks good I think it could be worth it even though I have as many as I need really. By Papiv |

| 9:25 02/04/2012 | Re: is that a buying opportunity?/ |
| I dont know how long the average attempted coup lasts but two weeks seems a bit too short for it to play out. Take the backdrop last quarter of large cap gold miners underperforming the market severely then I dont think its a bad move to wait for another 3-5% drop towards that psychological 5000 level this or next week. At that point the stock could benefit from a triple whammy upside with some interest coming into the likes of Barrick Gold, some reduced fearmongering over Mali situation and more of a focus on earnings as we move into US Earnigns season. | 21:14 01/04/2012 | Re: is that a buying opportunity?/ |
| I think they will work out a compromise - as they will be under too much pressure to do anything else. In a company statement, Randgold chief executive Mark Bristow said: Malians respect laws and I dont believe this will come with a high-handed change in political direction. We dont expect any subsequent governments to disregard proper and due process. By Papiv |
